Seventy-five days · every task, every day
75Unbroken
Pick what you want to get better at: your body, your habits, your mind. Set a few daily tasks a little harder than comfortable. Do every one of them, every day, for 75 days. Miss one and you start again from day one. Your friends will see whether you make it.
Four ways in
Pick your path.
Each path is a short list of daily tasks. Every one is rated Strict or Light before you start, so you know exactly what you are signing up for.
Classic
StrictThe original. Nothing softened.
Two workouts, four litres of water, ten pages, a photo, and a diet with no cheat meals and no alcohol.
Clean
StrictCut it out. Put something better in.
No added sugar, no caffeine, and every day you log what you had instead. Removing is how people fail; replacing is how they last.
Mind
LightTake your attention back.
Off social media, into a book, and a few minutes of quiet. The swap is what you did instead of scrolling.
Custom
Three to six things. Yours.
Pick from the library or write your own. Your own tasks count as a simple done or not done.
How it works
Three steps. The third one is the point.
- 1
Pick your path
Classic, Clean, Mind, or your own three to six tasks. Choose the part of you that needs the work, and how long: 30, 50, 75 or 100 days.
- 2
Do every task, every day
Today shows exactly what is left. Tap a glass of water, start a workout timer, turn a page. The day locks in when the last one is done.
- 3
Miss one, back to day one
No streak freeze, no skip button, no partial credit. That is the part that changes you, and the reason the number means something.
Why this one
Other apps forgive you.
That is kind, and it is why most streaks never change anything. Here is the difference.
Habit trackers
Streak freezes, “skip today”, a gentle note when you slip. A broken streak gets forgiven.
One rule, no exceptions. Miss a task and the count goes back to one. Nobody forgives it, so you stop needing it to.
Fitness apps
Count your reps and your steps. The rest of your day is somebody else’s problem.
Body, food, mind, screens, sleep: whatever you are trying to change, in one daily list.
Meditation apps
Ten calm minutes, then the rest of the day as usual.
Quiet minutes sit next to the harder things, like a day with no feeds and a bedtime the app actually checks.
Social feeds
Applause for looking good.
Friends fire up the days you showed up, and see the ones you did not, if you let them.
What it does for you
Built so that forgetting is the only way to fail.
45:00
Workout timers
Start the countdown from the workout itself. Lock your phone and go: it keeps time, tells you at zero and logs the session.
4 L
A bottle that fills
Add a glass, a bottle, a litre, and see when the last one went in, so it is never logged twice or not at all.
p. 142
A bookmark that turns itself
Set the book and your page once. Every page you log moves it on, until the book is finished.
22:41
A bedtime that is checked
“In bed by 23:00” is a tick against your own clock. After eleven, it is too late for tonight.
Day 1 ↔ 40
Before and after
Your first photo against any day since, lined up body to body. Encrypted, and yours unless you share it.
21:00
Reminders that know
At the times you choose, a notification says exactly what is still open and how long you have left.
An honest label
Strict or Light,
no pretending.
Every task carries points for how much it asks on an ordinary day. Enough of them, for long enough, and your challenge is Strict. Fewer, and it is Light, and the app tells you what would make it Strict. Your friends see the same label you do.
Strict
Two workouts, one outside. Four litres of water. Ten pages. A photo. A clean diet, no alcohol. Or a list of your own that asks as much, for at least 50 days.
Light
A steadier build: fewer or lighter tasks, or a shorter run. Still every task, every day. Still back to one if you miss.
Friends, on your terms
Someone is watching.
- —A feed of the days your friends locked in, the workouts they logged, the books they are reading.
- —Fire up a friend's day, or send a nudge when theirs is still open in the evening.
- —You choose, per friend, what they see: your day, whether today is done, your goals, your photos.
Private by construction
Your photos are yours.
- —Every photo is re-encoded, stripped of location data and stored encrypted. There are no public links.
- —Everything is off by default and can be switched back off in a tap.
- —Export all of it or delete your account at any time. No ads, no trackers.
